Tayo Salau is the pioneering pastor of RCCG-Christ Chapel. A church congregation in Houston, Texas that
grew from eight family members to average of 100-125 members and to be one of the most recognized
and distinguished parishes in Houston, Texas.
Pastor Salau founded the RCCG–Christ Chapel Family on Sept. 23, 2007. He started working as a part
time vocational pastor while pursuing a career as a Laboratory Scientist at Memorial Hermann Hospital
system. In 2012, he chose to pursue the full-time mission of leading RCCG Christ Chapel due to rapid growth of this vibrant church under The Redeemed Christian Church of God North America.
Tayo Salau believes that it is his life calling to minister the word of God and empower people to find
salvation and fulfillment through God and divine purpose. Today, Tayo Salau is a counselor with M.A LPC-I, LCDC serving the Harris County community and working with recently incarcerated citizens, youth, and citizens who need mental health support, along with his pastoral assignment as the pastor of RCCG Christ Chapel.Tayo Salau loves intercessory, healing, and counseling ministries and his passion is to disciple peoplefrom all nations into the Fullness of Christ. He is the father to 3 children, a husband to a loving anddevoted wife, and is recognized as one of the esteemed pastors, influential community leaders, inspiring disciples, and devout ministers in Houston, Texas and worldwide.
